Austenitic SS is not magnetic.

Not all SS is austenitic.

I have SS pieces and parts that magnets stick to. I am not a Billionaire.  :)

I'm with Denny, a .020 gap will crush anything I throw at it. And I do BIAB, so I'm not familiar with this 'stuck sparge' that you speak of.... ::)

Even without BIAB, I have never had a stuck runoff in 448 batches.  I think that's a testimonial to the effectiveness of the SS braid.
