Do we have to bring you beer in exchange for a signature?

Well, it couldn't hurt...but no.  ;)

Just received my copy of "Craft Beer for the Homebrewer".   Nicely layout and every recipe looks tasty.

Diane, that's not the book that Drew and I are doing.  This is another one, where I just contributed a few recipes.  "Experimental Brewing" is still in progress, hopefully finished by the end of this year and released next Nov.

Tell me how and when I can get my signed copy ;D

When will be next Nov. for "Experimental Brewing".  How?  Well, first you come to my house, then you go to Drew's.... :)
You just invited the internet over. Hope your kegs are full.

My copy shipped. Will go right to the Elevated IPA recipe, loved that one while in NM.

My copy got turned over to the Post Office this morning so I should see it tomorrow.

I just need to finish reading Water and then get through Doctor Sleep and I can start the new one.   ::)

I have barely begun Water, but finished Dr. Sleep a couple weeks ago.

I was really pleased by how nice the book looks.  Makes me really excited to see what they do with ours.  Brewed the Hop Stoopid recipe a couple days ago.  323 monkey fightin' IBUs!

Nope, not out til Nov.  I wish it was otherwise.  I'm not sure how the AHA would feel about us promoting a book not from BP.  Hopefully OK!  Drew and I applied to do a seminar together based on the book, though, so if it gets accepted you'll at least get a preview.  It should be kinda like the "Car Talk" of homebrewing.

It should be kinda like the "Car Talk" of homebrewing.

Which one of you is Tom and which one is Ray?  I can hear it now "Whatever you do, don't brew like my brother....."  and the "Puzzler".

Pretty obvious...I'm Tom.  I've even got the goofy laugh!

Got mine yesterday - the lager at 75 degrees intrigues me, greatly. Cali yeast that warm...interesting!

Seems like a fun read to start a Sunday morning after a double batch Saturday.

Well done authors!

I recommend this book - it gives insight to the pros, interesting recipes, and quite a bit of regional flavor.  I like this style of book - it is not overly technical, but gives you a great feel for the beers, brewers and philosophies involved.  A good read in any event!
