Bulleit Rye is a nice rye. Bulleit Bourbon is ok.

I have a bottle that is called bourbon, but has a portion of rye as well as malted barley.  I like it better than either of the other Bulleit bottles.

I’ve been sipping this Willet Pot Still fo a few weekends now. Very nice bourbon. Hard to find in my area but had someone bring a bottle back from Naples Fl.

CSMM is the juice. It went on sale for 40 beans and I've been buying every variant I could get my hands on.

Fermenting: Nothing (ugh!)

Yep. It's a sleeper and should always be on the shopping list when you can find it for $40 or less.

It runs $50 not on sale in NC. It's good and probably worth that, but at $40 is a no brainer.

Was able to have someone pick up two bottles I have been after which have escaped me. Old Overholt had two bottles they released only in Ohio and Pennsylvania. I had a buddy in Ohio, but he had knee replacement and wasn't able to snag a bottle. Then found another person going to Ohio and they didn't really try to find it. Another person was the same way. Then they showed up in PA, but only for a little while and too far away from anyone I knew to get them. Recently I noticed they were back, but in counties which again were too far from people I knew. I put out the call for anyone traveling to PA and sure enough found a guy who was traveling right by one of the stores with stock.

Not sure when they will come up in the queue, but I have the elusive bottles of Old Overholt 114 Rye and Old Overholt 11 Year Rye.

I actually always have a bottle of regular OO in the cabinet as our house rye for cocktails. We make sazaracs quite a bit and a few other rye cocktails. its a good value.
Don't let the bastards cheer you up.

Old Overholt Bonded is delicious. I prefer it to Rittenhouse.
