Beer trading
« on: December 13, 2013, 10:15:49 AM »
Is beer trading allowed on the AHA forum. I dont see a category for it. Will assume that it's not unless i hear otherwise.

That's a good question that's never been addressed in our policy.  Let me check into it.  I appreciate your restraint until I get an answer.

After consulting with the AHA and others forum mods, it looks like this could possibly be construed as being illegal.  If people wish to trade beer privately, no problem, but the forum should not be used to do it.

What about trading properly preserved "yeast samples"?

Agreed.  I don't even send by carrier or mail to my daughter any of the beer she and her fiancé helped brew.  She is picking it up personally over the holidays, though!

You could probably set up a group on Facebook or something of that nature if you wanted to start a trade group.
