Orval in danger of losing its Trappist status

They're committed to keeping production at its current level, but they may not have enough monks to be certified as Trappist.

So long as the beer doesn't change it really doesn't bother me. The brewer retired sometime back and someone else at the brewery took over.
It's not a popularity contest, it's beer!

I think their beer has earned a good enough reputation and has enough demand that they don't need the Trappist designation.
