Jeebus!

This sucker even works with my lubuntu chrome . Flawless with my chromebook. Even my android phone.

Revolutionary. Content shows on my widescreen HD or whatever the browser has in it. There's some lag that way but for youtube and netflix which are prime services the experience is amazing. I think the introduction has been as influential as my first experience with MTV. But on steroids. Or crack...

I really like it too.  Works great with every device on my network and every TV I have.  Easy installation and I haven't had a single issue with it!  Can't recommend it enough.

I asked for one for Christmas, so I'll see if Santa is good to me.  I'm interested in seeing what is can really do.

I almost got one, but some reviews were terrible.

Since BestBuy is running it for $29.99 with free shipping I will give it a whirl.

I finally got mine set up over the weekend. (I have AT&T Uverse and their supplied router doesn't allow PnP.)

It's like being a magician. I have Play All Access, so I usually plug my phone into a headphone jack on my receiver on the TV, but now... now I can be in the kitchen or garage and change the music to whatever I please. AND the volume control is on my phone too. Awesome.

When we finish the bar/basement, I'm getting another one so I can have my music in the bar or backyard when we have people over. I haven't even used the Chrome part, or Netflix, or Vevo, or Pandora, or YouTube, or... the list keeps growing.

Well I just found out that local content ie sideloaded, cannot be played off my phone. I'm too cheap to pay $10 for google play. I am gonna ditch the xbox live so maybe a reallocation would work but music I got plenty of- no need to join another f'ing service. Especially one that will prompt me to spend more money!

Otherwise fantastic. I'm sure the capabilities will expand as time goes by.

They just released a bunch of new apps to work with it.  Netflix works great with it and I've only had a few issues w/ some Youtube videos, but that's not a big deal to me.

With a PC or Mac, you just need Chrome browser to play through.  Chrome is my favorite browser so that's not an issue with us.

No iTunes support and I doubt that will ever happen, but there are other free music services (Pandora, Spotify) that work well with it.

I'm sure someone will come up with an app to play video and music files directly from you computer, but until then if you want to view videos on your computer, you have to upload them to Youtube first...I think.

Tablets and phones work great and I would say are easier to use than computers.

We have mostly Apple products in our house, so we may eventually get an Apple TV when the new one comes out.  However, I've been very happy with the Chromecast (other than no iTunes ability) so we may end up skipping the Apple TV.

I looked at Apple TV, but I can already stream online stuff either via TV or BD so I don't really need to do anything but stream from my laptop or iPad.  I gave Santa the hint about Chromecast....
