A good sweaty exercise workout works well.

I love hangover sex because then I'm still in bed and can nap for a couple of hours.
I'd really just rather be brewing in sunny Carlsbad New Mexico

Down in TX they tell me menudo works wonders.

For me it is water, vitamin B, a shower, and time.

I'll accept the yank comment. Though I'm not sure what side Washington fought for, blue or gray. We're still fighting an east/west war here.

We do know something about food though. I'll take elk backstrap and Dungeness crab over swimp n grits any day.

Close but no cigar.

The correct pronunciation is swimps.

A good sweaty exercise workout works well.

Followed by a nap.

Lower Alabama, shuh!

Funny thing is, the further north you go in Florida, the more Southern it becomes.

Pretty sure he fought for the American Colonies...

Alternate answer:  They didn't become a state until 1889.  From what I understand Washington Territory had no skin in the conflict, but was part of the Union.  Oregon on the other hand, did have volunteers in the Civil War on the Union side.
