I installed spigots in my buckets. No need to siphon. Just drain.

It will be fine. You'll drink that first AG so fast it won't make bit of difference. Now stop using secondary and gt right to bottling/kegging. Plus if you plan to bottle condition, the yeast will use up what O2 you added.

The beer like I said was splashing but not uncontrollably, it just created a lot of bubbles on the surface of my secondary fermenter.

+1 to skipping the secondary moving forward.  In looking back, this does not sound like a problem.  But the yeast will not consume all of the Oxygen past certain levels which is why one of the cardinal rules is to avoid splashing when transferring.

I love my Autosiphon.  I have the 1/2" version and it transfers in no time.  Just don't assemble it when it's dry.  I did that once and it never got good suction again ( which is why I now have the 1/2" version so it all worked out in the end ).

And Art Linkletter would be so proud...as well as Yogi Berra!  But it's so true, Jim.  I once heard someone say "I need to be more intentional about doing the things I intend to do".  Now that also applies to homebrewing!

It seems so simple, but I used to think every beer needed a secondary. Maybe because so many instructions mention it. Now there is a swing toward never secondary. I'm just pointing out why it's called secondary fermentor... hence when to use one.
