drying out tubing
« on: January 12, 2014, 02:01:11 pm »
Does anyone have a tip on fully drying out plastic tubing? Mine always seem to stay wet for a long time and eventually just leave water spots.

I take then outside and gold one end while I twirl the tube around my has as far as I can. gets most of it out. Others use air compressor. Also figure out how to hang them to store.

I just hang them on the corner of some shelves.  There happens to be a drain in the basement floor directly below.

I make sure to rinse it in soft water and then StarSan. Seems to keep the spots away, even if I just let it drip dry.

Do you wear a planting pot on your head and yell "You must whip it!"?

Rinse extremely well immediately after use. Then whip and hang...
