Brewing a Scottish 60/- with rye in it.

5.75lb Maris Otter
1lb Rye malt
6 oz C40
6oz C120
4oz Chocolate

Wave some EKG over the kettle to hop it, ferment with 1968.
Risk of failure should be no deterrent to trying.

Looks great! Gotta love the color on that wort.. 26% vienna, that beer would normally be brown :)

Brown? Wow! I must be using the wrong Vienna malt
Yeah, it wouldn't be brown from Vienna malt. My non-low O2 beers with 100% Vienna were light amber at best. This was Best Malz Vienna and Weyermann Vienna.

Welcome back, Jonathan!

Brewed "Better Red than Dead" today.  https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/homebrew-recipe/better-red-than-dead/

Brewed BIAB with a friend to show him how to brew.  It went really well. Hit all are numbers. I forgot how easy and fast BIAB can be.

Tropical C.r.E.A.M.  Citra, WaRRioR, Ekuanot, Azacca, Mosaic - little play on words plus a play on a Wu Tang acronym.

2 row plus some Carahell and Munich.

Wu Tang? Seriously? You do not strike me as a Wu Tang Clan fan...wow.

I'm going to brew a Belgian dubbel this weekend. Got some harvest WLP500 I'm excited to use.

Getting risky for first brew day in 6 months, 2 batches: doppelbock and dry Irish stout for St. Patty's day(just the stout) concurrent batches with about 30 minute delay (all while breaking in my new 10g BruGear kettle) Fingers crossed. Goal would be quick turnaround on the stout, and age/lager the doppelbock for quite some time. Have some 835 I need to get back into the pipeline

Yeah man - I'm very eclectic everything from Metallica to the Smiths to Jack Johnson to Zach Brown to Tupac is on my phone.

As far as rap though I pretty much only like 90s rap.

Correct. If you've never heard of Black Moon, Smif N Wessun, etc. you've never listened to rap music!
