I like the use of HMF - I made my Marlberry Pils once with all Mandarina (it usually uses yet and HMF) and it was good but a bit weird in its fruitiness.  I think the split will give you the best of both worlds

Good to know. I have never used either so I am excited for the mix between a classic noble variety and something more new school. I think I have only used Spalt and Tettnang...

This is fashioned after Deschutes Pacific Wonderland.

Brewing a half-batch of Best Bitter with 5 lbs Golden Promise, a dash (1.5 oz) of chocolate malt, Styrian Goldings, and Wyeast 1768 Special Collection ESB. During down time when I'm not cleaning up I'm researching keg line cleaners.

Rebrew of this 1 gallon attempt of all day ipa to a 10 gal...  close.  A hair better than founders.  Less pine more citrus, but roughly the same brew. Horizon 35ibus WP includes galaxy, centennial, citra, and Amarillo and dry hopped with simcoe.
