If the weather holds I am planning a Boston Lager-like brew this weekend.

Just mashed in. ...and got a call from the bank: someone has my bank card number and is ordering from Pay Pal. Talk about a crappy brew day.

There will be a lot of alcohol in that one to help ease your pain.

Just put Chinook Blonde into the fermenter. May turn out more of a small pale ale.  We’ll see.

1049 OG, 28 IBU
95% 2-row Pale
5% C10
Chinook at first wort, 1 min, and steeped.
California Ale Yeast

Yeah, that's a lot of "-ish" in the "Boston Lager-ish!" BTW how do you create your cool logos?

I was suppose to hit 1.055 but I ended up at ~1.059. I plan for 80% brewhouse efficiency but I did a bit better than that today. I may have to consider diluting to hit my number in the future.

The real question is why is my hydrometer leaning? LOL

I’ve been playing with beerlabelizer.com. I may have to edit the % ABV on that label.

Edelweiss Pils.  My first brew with these hops from Ted Hausotter -- pretty excited!

Doing a Bass ale today, with Thames Valley yeast.  Haven't brewed this one before so I'm looking forward to it.

Just got back into steady brewing again. got some friends who wanted to learn how to brew, put them to work doing the heavy lifting, and we brewed up a vienna mandarina pale ale, IPA, and robust porter over last 3 days.
