This is what I'm "brewing" this weekend.

Bottling 5 gallons of Imp Stout from keg
Bottling 5 gallons of Am Barleywine from keg
Kegging two batches of IPA

Brewing? Maybe next weekend

Let's do a beer swap!

I've got 5 gallons of imp stout headed for a barrel.  But I need to check the gravity and see where its at.  I way overshot.
Would be fun. Lately I'm lucky if I can find time to change my mind...

Why do I feel like there is an earthquake or sonic boom associated with you changing your mind Jim?

Just pitched the yeast into my first ever NE style IPA.
10 lbs 2-row
2 lbs Vienna
1 lb flaked oats

1 oz Nugget 60 min
2 oz Citra - flameout
2 oz Ekuanot - flameout
2 oz El Dorado - flameout

It will get a dryhop charge of the flameout hops in the same quantities in 3 days.

Pitched a 5 day old pouch of Imperial A38 Juice.

Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

I did a one gallon Summer solstice light ale, I replaced the .5 oz of Williamette with 1 oz. of Citra.
Looking forward to this beer, I think its going to be a great summer ale.

"30 Mile Pale Ale"

Ohio-grown Pale (Wintmalt) and Munich (Scala) floor-malted by Haus Malts in Cleveland (30 mi N of my house) Cascades from Second Sons Hopyards (30 mi SSE) and my city water (20 mi E to the plant) with some added gypsum is about dead on the BW Pale Ale profile:

6.5 gal ~13.5°P (we'll see what this malt yields)
80/20 Pale/Munich
1 oz Chinook (not local) FWH
3 oz Cascade 10 min
WLP051

Plan to cold condition a bit and tap for the 4th of July.

(Looking at my records, I'm shocked to find I've done exclusively lagers for almost 8 years, up to 25 brews a year.  About time I got back on the ale trail for a while!)

Just kegged my German Altbier and English Brown yesterday.  Drinking those while brewing my Hefeweissen that will get some fresh apricots in secondary for a nice summertime twist. (Hopefully)

Drew’s Bastage English Summer Ale is today’s effort.  https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/homebrew-recipe/bastage-english-summer-ale/

The last Drew recipe I tried sux so we’ll see. Of course, that may be due to the loose nut between the mash paddle and MLT.

I brewed what I hope is the final version of my American mild yesterday.  Hoping to find time to do a pils over the weekend.
