I got time to make a batch of my Noti Brown Am. brown a couple weeks ago and it turned out so well that I'm sneaking in another batch before I have surgery.  I figure it can sit for a few weeks til I can deal with it.  Using my new no lift system, which uses a Mash and Boil as a HLT and a Blichmann Riptide pump to move things around.

I am thinking of doing something similar with my Braumeister, i.e. use a separate HLT to feed the BM, then transfer out of the BM into the HLT to boil.

Crisp brown, and the pale is the Crisp Chevallier.   The black is Briess but it really doesn't matter whose it is at 500L.   I have Chinook,  Mt Hood and Willamette standing in for the original Cluster,  Spalt and Fuggles.  Just got it wrapped up, really happy with the wort.

Brewed an English Pale Ale yesterday and for first time am using Target and Progress hops. It's bubbling away nicely in the basement thanks to WLP 013 London Ale. Used 93 percent Maris Otter and 7 percent 50/60 crystal.

I've got a dry Irish Stout I'm looking forward to.

Just finished brewing an English/American pale ale--Pacific Ale  yeast (WLP 041) with EKG and Cascade in nearly equal proportions. I've heard that EKG and Cascade blend well--but this is my first test.
