My first-ever lager, a dark Czech lager (thanks Brewbama).

This is the first beer I've brewed in a couple of years where I was really happy with the results. I know some of it is process (relocating to a new home, new workflow blah blah) but I can't rule out recipe. Thank you.

That is a solid recipe.  I did my own very similar adaptation based on the same original source a couple years ago and loved it.  Will hope to do it again this winter.  I'd recommend  it to anyone.

I know it's not yet the weekend, but brewed my Amarillo IPA yesterday  (we ran out a week ago and it is my wife's favorite beer).  Brew day went well OG  was within 0.3% of predicted value!  It is now happily fermenting.  Will be using a combination of Cryo Amarillo and Amarillo pellets for dry hopping.

My Cascade bines have tons of cones on them (some over an inch long) so will be brewing my wet hopped Cascade IPA, called Hopicus Freshicus, in a few weeks when the flowers are ready.  Was hoping to also do a Nugget version this year as well but my Nugget hops aren't really producing anymore.  Think it may be time to dig up the Nugget rhizomes.

My Brut IPA with Gulo yeast from Omega.  First time with this yeast.
Some day we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny

It's Gravenstein season and I'm contemplating making Gravenstein cider.

Märzen, to follow the Festbier I did last brew day.  14.2°P, 60% Weyermann Munich 2, 40% Weyermann Pilsner, a little Sinamar for color adjustment, ~22 IBU Saaz @ FWH.  Wort so yummy, can't wait for the beer.  :)

I am all setup for an early start tomorrow AM. I’ll brew my nod to Ranger IPA.  Though I am using the same grist and hops, my riff will not be nearly as strong either in ABV or IBU.  However, I am using a lager yeast — more of an APL I guess.

Just put a batch of G Pils in the chest freezer to cool a bit more before pitching yeast. Tinkering with my normal recipe to see what I like more.

100% castle Pilsner

Bitter with magnum
1 oz hallertau mittelfruh 30 min
1 oz hallertau mittelfruh 15 min
2 oz Saaz 2 min

1.053
~42 Ibu

S-189/M76 blend
On Tap/Bottled: IPL, Adjunct Vienna, Golden Stout, Honey Lager
Fermenting: IPA
Up Next: mexi lager, Germerican pale ale

I’ve never used Castle Pilsner malt before. How does it compare to German Pilsner malt like Weyermann or Avanguard? I’m going to brew a Festbier tomorrow.

So normally I use weyermann but my shop was out last time I bought a bag so I went with castle. I love it. I brew a lot of German influenced styles and think this works great for everything I have done however I use Pilsner malt as my base malt for almost all styles. I am considering switching to it full time. It seems to have a better yield too which I appreciate. Others may have more specific notes however I feel it has a light honey sweetness over the crackery biscuity notes. Subtleties escape me a lot of the time.

Making a porter using MO and some local (PA Deer Creek) Munich as the base.  Going with 1450 to do the work because I used it in my last beer (IPA) and it came out fantastic.
