Pressed 17 gal of cider yesterday.  Fermenting 12 of it.

No idea, really.  We have 6 or 7 different varieties on our trees, and the neighbors brought a few more.

We have about 10 apple trees and a cider press. The neighbors have mam66 more trees, so we all get together to do it, like yesterday.  The first 17 gal. and the final pressing in a few weeks are all ours, though.

I am mashing what I’ve dubbed Bonländer which is based on CavPilot’s Kreuzberger recipe. It’s a beautiful deep amber at this midpoint.
