My wife's birthday is coming up so it's time to brew Rye IPA

I have 940 and Omega Bayern both running right now.  I made something called Blonde Redhead awhile back (pic below) and that keg is about to go so I might make another batch of it this weekend.  For the Bayern, I have a number of recipes drawn up... Red Lager, Festbier, Vienna, Pilsner, Helles... not sure what will be next but my wife, my son and I are all here and consumption is up so production needs to be up too.  Might have some people over for Father's Day and may also have house guests the week of July 4th.  Beer is essential.  :P

A day without beer is like... just kidding, I have no idea.

Also, my girlfriend's birthday cider.
Some day we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny

Nope.  She got me started, enjoys the beer, and listens patiently as I babble.  But she has her garden.  No time for brewing even if she was interested.

Realized my kegerator might be empty enough to fit my 7 gallon brewbucket (ferm chamber only fits the 3.5 gallon), so I think I'm brewing a lager with Aramis.

Mashing a Golden Ale loosely based on James Squire’s Four Wives now. This one will use Dr Rudy to bitter, Motueka and Kazbek for flavor and aroma.

Just finished up an ESB with WY1469 and EKG and Caliente in the whirlpool. I'll be trying the short/cold dry hop technique with some more Caliente.

Fyi - if you haven't used Caliente before, it has this awesome plum/nectarine character that works well with estery English yeasts, and some Belgian-style yeasts like Unibroue and Rochefort.

Just mashed in my "Raspberry Belgian" -- a modification of Funkwerks' Raspberry Provincial. Going to give it a 10 minute boil, cool to ~100, pitch the lacto, let it sit overnight, and then finish it tomorrow.
