Believe it or not I actually have moved to high-quality non-stick skillets. The T-fal pans made especially for walmart have outperformed my traditional copper-bottom pans. I bought both 10.5"&12" pans.

T-fal Elegance Nonstick 12"

The heavy multilayered bottomed all-metal pans have yet to warp and can survive trips to the oven and broiler. Supposedly they are tough enough to resist metal utensils but I use silicone and wood. No scratches in 9 months of near daily use. I possibly can source some lids but the they don't come with them unfortunately.

I never would have guessed it, but I've found some really great deals on high quality piece-meal pots and pans at Ross.  You never know what you'll find, but the prices are really low.

I picked up a Griswold cast iron dutch oven at a flea market two years ago and have used it a bazillion times. Love it. Same with my lodge skillet.

We have an induction range now, so I'm limited to high-quality stainless or iron things.

That being said, All-Clad is having another "factory seconds sale" right after NHC, so I'll be able to pick up the last two pots/pans I need. I think all you need is a little passcode and the link for anyone to get in... if you all are picking up what I'm throwing down.

I've bought a lot of pieces from the factory seconds sale in the past and none of them have had any flaws on them. Non-stick 10" stainless pan for $40? Looks perfect. Saucier for $90? Again, perfect. Giant 5qt high sided pan with lid? $95 for not even a scratch. I'm still confused as to why these things are discounted.

Without trying to sound too much like a fan girl... OMG LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. I have no idea how I lived with my 2000 crap-fest Whirlpool POS for longer than a year. Myles thought it was going to be an "Amanda toy", but he is also in love with it. I can't wait to try out the 8-pass 3700W broiler on our Baking Steel for pizzas. Boiling water in sub-3 minutes is crazy. Dinner takes about half the time (not exaggerating) compared to our old POS. And when Myles is grilling and I'm doing some sort of side... I used to have to start before he lit the Weber kettle. Now I can start when the meat hits the grill.

As far as which one we have, it's the GE PHS920SFSS. It was between that and the Samsung Chef Collection with the dual oven. The higher reviews on the GE and the turbo-broiler won out over the double oven of the Samsung.

It was supposed to be the crown on my full kitchen reno, sort of like the carrot at the end of my renovation stick, but that Memorial Day sale was entirely too good to pass over. So it was the third thing we bought for the kitchen reno... and I couldn't be happier.

Our old range was "Captain Slow".  ;)

Jeremy has so much power that I can sear the ba-jesus out of anything on power level 5.5 or 6 out of 10. 10 is terrifying. The big burner as a "Power Boil" that really should only for a large pot of water. I put about an inch of water in my 3 qt saucier... good thing I was standing there staring at it because it went to boil in about 45 seconds.

That's where we are now.  Could boil water faster with a BIC lighter. :o  Looking to go to induction as well.  I'm happy with our GE double oven though.  Top one is convection, bottom is standard.  I works very well for everything.

Not a problem! Induction is super neat. One of my favorite subjects in school was electromagnetism. I'm cooking with SCIENCE!  8)
