Difference between WLP007 and WLP017
« on: February 02, 2014, 09:46:04 pm »
Hey gang,
WLP 007 is reportedly the Whitbread yeast, but the platinum strain, 017 is called Whitbread Ale.  Does anyone know the difference?

Attenuation. 007 is rated at 70-80% while 017 is 67-73%

White read had Several yeast strains, ax Steve sai.
17 would be the "Ale" strain. 007 would by the dry strain.
