Organic muslin bags

Does anyone use them? Was considering picking these us, but the mesh seems much finer and I'm wondering if it would hinder seeping speciality grains. Thoughts?

Hard to tell from the pictures but I use organic cotton hops bags and they work fine for hops in the boil so I imagine they would work for steeping.

I recently made the switch to organic brewing and I'm also BIAB.  I asked for organic materials awhile back on the forum and someone suggest voile.  So, I recommend just Google: Organic Voile. Tons of places to buy it, assuming you have a sewing machine or a friend, it's the best way to go.  Good Luck.

Cheers.

Perhaps there is an alternative to using bags for steeping? Any thoughts on something like the SS tea steeping balls or similar?

it was only a little grain that might work but there has to be room for the grain to absorb water and swell.

Bumping this as I'm considering the below bag for BIAB small batches. Would it work as well as the nylon bags sold elsewhere? Would the six pounds of grain limit on the bag be ok for 1-2 gallon batches?

if it will really fit 6 lbs of grain loosely enough to mash, and I've always had good results with 7 bridges products, it should be fine. 6 lbs of grain in a 2 gallon batch should get you around 1.075 max but a 1 gallon batch you can go as high as you like (well actually only as high as about 1.150 but really...)
