Steve Cook is "duxx" on this forum. He is our club President and a homebrew activist in the Kansas City area. He lives on the Missouri side and still fights in the Kansas legislator for us Kansans!  8)

I know dkfick and morticaixavier are two because they've had it in the forum signatures for a couple weeks now.  And hopfenundmalz, and some dude named Drew?

shot in the dark, but I'm guessing tschnidlin is Tom Schmidlin.

This is my last year on the GC.  It would be great to pack it with forumites!

Man oh man are there a bunch of qualified people in the running.  I will have to give this some time, for sure, if for no other reason than just reading all of the bios.... Great to have a tough selection as a voter and even greater to know this many qualified folks are willing to serve.  It certainly makes being a member of AHA a wonderful privilege.

Cheers to all of the candidates! And Forumites, as Denny said (or could one say, forumates?)

I suppose it's good that there are lots of candidates since there are 8 seats open. I counted 7 whose names I recognize from here and I'll bet there are others. Lots of interesting and diverse qualifications. I like that there are some (including Morticai) with IT experience, since that's an important issue for AHA right now.

I have no idea how Justin is going to interview 25 candidates on The Session between now and the end of March.

Lots of familiar faces on that list and some big names.  I'll definitely check out the bios (except Tom's...I know where he stands :P ), but I may try to spread the love around the country, to represent all regions, not just the West Coast.

All of the candidates show great qualifications.  The important thing is to vote.  If you don't vote.....you have no right to complain.  Takes 2 minutes.
