1) Warminster MO
2) Best Pilsner
3) Briess 2 row

Gotta admit that Briess wouldn't make my top 20!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Their Munich malt is a joke. Tastes like 2-row.
I don't know about that. But it certainly is a bit different than regular munich. I think it has a much more pronounced toasty/biscuity flavor.

I'm a Great Western fan for Pale Washington Select and just started using their Pils.

I use a bag of Briess 6 row every year. Some of the well know area breweries use Briess. Just saying.

Briess 6 row is fine.  I'm well aware of the fact that a lot of commercial Midwestern breweries use Briess.  Their mistake...;)
In June you will be able to drink their mistakes.

I will say that I have started to use Rahr 2 row for American style ales.

1. Rahr 2-row
2. Warminster MO

Everything else is a buy-as-needed.  I kind of like the having the need to stop by the LHBS to fill out a grain bill.  It feels the same as poking around a hardware store.  I never knew how much I needed this thing I wasn't looking for...

Right now any sort of pils malt. And that's it. One.

I agree with euge.  I have lots of sacks of malt, but I am always running out of pils.  I think it has something to do with the fact that I like to brew lagers and Belgians.

Anyone use domestic pils?  I'd love to find a decent domestic pils.  I have a hard time getting Best, which is my favorite.

1. Best Pils
2. Rahr 2-Row
3. TF MO
4. Avoid Breiss at all costs.  Hands down my least favorite Base

I use Great Western pils for all of my lagers. Premium American Lager, Vienna Lager and Oktoberfest. Probably a Dopplebock soon. Its good, I like it, but I wouldn't try to do the beers that really need continental pils or don't have a lot of specialty to hide behind.

For the longest time it was:
Fawcett or Crisp Maris Otter
Best Pils
Weyermann Munich

But just recently I decided my staples would now be:
Rahr 2 row
Crisp Maris Otter
Weyermann Munich
...and, when needed, Best Pils

Also, put me in the camp that isn't crazy about Briess.  I lived in the Midwest for 30+ years until three years ago and for ever commercial brewery there that uses Briess, there is another that uses Rahr.  In fact, my first AG batch in 2005 was brewed with 88% Rahr 2 row.  I got a bag b/c my local brewery, which also had a HBS attached, used it and sold it to me. :)

Seems like Rahr is much preferred than Briess here. I think I bought one kit back in the day that had Rahr two row. I think that was the only time I've used it. Nobody carries Rahr around here.

1. Rahr 2 row
2. Weyermann's Pils
3. Crisp Maris Otter
4. Weyermann's Munich
I've also began using Rahr pils for APA's and Ipa's.   I stick with the Weyermann's for German styles.

I have made CAPs with Malteurop 2-row (despite its name, its grown and malted in Montana), and they have come out great.
