-1 on eating people. I see what you people eat and it is disgusting. I wouldn't want to ingest that by consuming you.

If I recall correctly, wagyu beef in Japan is fed beer as well, and that's some very finely marbled meat.  So perhaps we beer-drinkers are better tasting than we look?

I had a couple of "dry baconed" beers earlier this year, why not a "dry whaled" beer, maybe use some whale oil smoked malt

Capp,

I don't want to party with you! I'm not sure if I could pass out after you. I'm not willing to take the chance.

Can't blame you there.  ;)

When we were building my Brutus stand...we went to lunch and he was talking about eating live chick eggs  :o

I almost threw up in my mouth.

While I am not down with whale killing I admit I would try a bite if it was offered to me.

+I'm with the major! If it's good enough for the Eskimo's, it's good enough for me.  ;)

I think whale farming would need some transparent aluminum...Lots of it.

Just a general question.  I know there are a lot of food-appreciative types and likewise a lot of environmental types in the wide homebrewing community.  If you were, say, in Japan where its legal to my understanding, and someone offered you a bit o' whale meat, would you try it?

I've had it many times, in different shapes and preparations, and it is delicious and nutritious!  My favorite version is BBQ'd whale steaks, and it is awesome!

Like others, I'm not big on whale hunting, but I'd try it if it was offered to me.  I've eaten some pretty interesting stuff over the years - even some rattlesnake.
