Looks fantastic.

A nice little variation of that might be to take a couple pounds of your MO and toasst it in a 350° oven for 30 minutes, adds a real nice touch to my milds.

I'm not big on Black Patent and would probably have it subbed by Chocolate malt or Special B. But that's my preference LOL.

Looks good. Looks good.

Tasty.

I love a good mild.  This looks really unique compared to most recipes I have seen.

Oats make an interesting addition.  How do they affect clarity?  I have never used malted oats so maybe that is not a problem?

Also, I have never seen MO crystal.  Do you think that has a distinct difference to your run of the mill medium British crystal?

I need to try using different yeasts with my own "house" mild.  I like it as is using SO-4 but it would be good to experiment...

Milds are a great starter for the many liquid yeasts out there to try, as are ESB's  ;D

The crystal Maris Otter is a new malt from Simpsons. It has a nice toasty/nuttiness along with the normal medium crystal flavors
