Man, that is a lot of sodium and a lot of alkalinity.

What does your water look like before it goes through the softener?  You might want to skip it for brewing and then dilute with RO or distilled to cut alkalinity as necessary.

Yeah, that softened water has a ton of Na, even for softened.  Of course the alkalinity and bicarbonate are through the roof. Most water in this area (and big parts of the Midwest) is just plain s^*t for brewing most styles. I made RO my friend.

I haven't tested it before the softener but I have been diluting with 50/50 water to distilled. I got a bunch of RO from work to try it. Of course I don't have any info on the mineral content but I purchased a TDS tester to check it.
I may adjust my softener down a bit, but won't really know where it's at unless I retest. Which is a waste of money since my alkalinity/bicarbonate is stupid crazy. My plans are to get a RO system for the house.

Santa Cruz Mountains, CA. 2500'elevation.  The three numbers are well water (200'), household softened water, and RO water (RO unit filters well water - I know that this isn't the best for the membrane, but I'm paranoid about residual sodium in the RO affecting some epiphytes that I water with it).  I only use water built from the RO for brewing.

Just got this back, but I don't know the conversions from mg/L and ug/L for ppm or ppb or ppt,  So I got a report but can't make out exactly what I want out of it... your thoughts

pH 7.4
Total Hardness [CaCO3] 340 mg/L
Fluoride [F-] .87 mg/L
Sodium [Na] 1.12 mg/L
Iron [Fe] 0.143 mg/L
Manganese [Mn]  .011 mg/L
HAA5 .93 mg/L (additive for microbes)
Lead [Pb] 2ug/L
Copper [Cu] 1.199 mg/L
Nitrate [NO3-] .22 mg/L
Chlorine [Cl] .83 mg/L

Just use mg/L=ppm, ug/L=ppb, close enough for beer brewing.

You report is missing the important brewing ions. Look at the Ward Labs reports for what ions you want to know but don't have. Yo do have sodium, Na.

Ca, Mg, Chloride, SO4, HCO3 (bicarbonate) are what you want to know for brewing.

Water Report for Sonoma, California
November 2015

Note: This is NOT in the City - this is from a home served by the Valley of the Moon Water District.

Taken from tap at home near Verano and Highway 12

Parts per million (ppm)

pH   8.5
TDS Est   183
EC   0.31
Cations   3.4
Anions   3.8
Sodium   22
Calcium   24
Magnesium   16
Potassium   1
Total Hardness   127
Nitrate   0.1 (SAFE)
Sulfur (SO4-S) 5  (see note*)
CO3   3.4
HCO3   199
Chloride   5
Total Alkalinity   168

* NOTE:  This is a Ward Labs Report. Ward Labs reports Sulfate as Sulfur (SO4-S) so you must multiply by that by 3 to get SO4!.  So 5 x 3 = 15; use 15 in your calculations.

Here's mine:

Location : Clearwater, Idaho (rural) from a stand pipe directly out of my private well @220'

pH       7.9
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) Est, ppm      153
Electrical Conductivity, mmho/cm     0.25
Cations / Anions, me/L    2.9 / 2.6ppm
Sodium, Na     13
Potassium, K     3
Calcium, Ca     21
Magnesium, Mg     10
Total Hardness, CaCO3     94
Nitrate, NO3-N      0.1 (SAFE)
Sulfate, SO4-S     2
Chloride, Cl     < 1
Carbonate, CO3     < 1.0
Bicarbonate, HCO3     166
Total Alkalinity, CaCO3     137
Total Phosphorus, P     0.08
Total Iron, Fe     < 0.01

From a Ward Labs report

This water works as a good base for just about everything I've brewed with the exception of light lagers and pilsners, which require considerable dilution with distilled water to get in the ballpark before chemical and acid additions.

Here's my water profile for Gainesville, GA (Lake Lanier area). It's a pretty "clean slate":

pH: 7.6
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) Est, ppm: 56
Electrical Conductivity, mmho/cm: 0.09
Cations / Anions, me/L: 0.8 / 0.7
ppm
Sodium, Na: 6
Potassium, K: 4
Calcium, Ca: 6
Magnesium, Mg: 1
Total Hardness, CaCO3: 19
Nitrate, NO3-N: 0.4 (SAFE)
Sulfate, SO4-S: 3
Chloride, Cl: 6
Carbonate, CO3: < 1.0
Bicarbonate, HCO3: 19
Total Alkalinity, CaCO3: 16
Total Phosphorus, P: 0.14
Total Iron, Fe: < 0.01
"<" - Not Detected / Below Detection Limit

From a Ward Labs report. I've been told by the city that the profile doesn't change month to month or seasonally like some places do.
