I loved the cameos of Grants as well, something that brings a nostalgic smile. I played for years in a local pipe band, and any time I'd be through Yakima I'd take my pipes along and stop by Grant's. If you'd play in the pub for 15 minutes, Bert would buy you a burger. He had a reputation for being kind of a cantankerous old codger, but I always enjoyed him.
