So the last time I brewed I left water sitting in my brewpot and it caused some pitting. I haven't done anything special with it except clean it as I or normally would. I brewed in it last night without thinking it might be an issue. My questions are:
Was it a bad idea to brew in this pot without doing any special treatment to it to try to fix the pitting?
How do I clean up the mess the pitting had created?
I hope brewing in this pot didn't ruin my batch. It's taking longer to start fermentation then normal and now my mind if racing thinking I may have ruined the batch.
