Tangents
« on: May 03, 2014, 10:22:04 am »
We as a community are good at going off on tangents. Some, including myself, are guilty more than others.

Let's see how long we can make a thread entirely of tangents. Each post needs to be a tangent to of a previous post.

I am brewing saison with 3711 tomorrow. Going to be a warm 93 with a bit if humidity.

Humidity really sucks. Like the old farts say, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity".  I really hate humidity.

But I do like tacos pretty well.     ;)

I just peeked outside and it looks like rain, and here it was damn near 95 degrees last Thursday.

Thirsty?  Not any more.  I'm having a Four Hands Rye IPA on a pretty patio in St. Louis.

I always thought it would be cool to get one of those hair metal double-necked guitars, but in order to really take advantage of it, I'd need four hands.  And some long stringy hair.

To answer the OP's original question, or at least the question he should have asked, I'll throw in my 2 cents and respond in the following manner. But please keep in mind that, while I think I'm correct about this, though I have been wrong at times in the past, I am certain you will agree. So, if you're like me, and I know I am, there's nothing quite like it. Unless, of course, you have access to something better.

Not really, but I am smoking some ribs right now...

Nothing much better than good smoked spare ribs to me. Can't beat it.   Makes me think of the time I broke a couple ribs in a football game in high school. It really sucked.

The worst thing is when football season is over, "the bachelor" begins. It's punishment for 17 weeks plus playoffs of wasted Sundays, Mondays nights, Thursday nights, and the occasional Saturday.

I tried smoking ribs, but I couldn't find big enough rolling papers.

Speaking of kids, I can't wait for farmers market season to start up so I can get some fresh local goat cheese. Nothing like a good chèvre with beets.
