Does anyone know if a reasonably-priced shuttle service runs between Gerald R. Ford Airport and the Amway hotel?  I would prefer to avoid having to rent a car.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't one--unless the Amway has it's own shuttle service.  See the thread under the "Events" section of the forum.  They recommend partnering up with someone to and from to split the $35 cab fare.

It's not a big airport, I'm guessing a good percentage of the people coming in over tue-thur will be going to the same place.

Nope, there isn't one.  Kind of a bummer.

Thirty-five dollars plus tip in both directions is cheaper than renting a car.

Well, it's certainly not Oregon!

Well, it's certainly not Oregon!

Or other parts of the country that have a public transportation system. Would be nice to have some in MI.

I'm landing at GRR on Monday, June 9th around 7PM.  If anyone's interested in taking a cab, I'd be more than happy to share one to the convention center for the JW/Amway/Courtyard hotels.

Send me a PM if you're interested to exchange contact info.

$35 each way isn't too bad considering that some shuttle services at major airports have really gone up in price.  Plus, if you're the lucky one at the end of the route, it can take an hour to get to your hotel/destination that you could have taken a cab to and gotten there in 20 minutes.

We're coming in Wednesday at 4 p.m.  We have a ride but we can take one more if any one is interested.  PM me....
