Apparently the wild fires near San Diego are heading toward Stone.  They have evacuated the premises.

They evacuated yesterday afternoon from what the press is saying. Today?

I'm about 50 miles from the fires. Very smoky here today. I have several friends evacuated from the fires.

Amazing how far it travels.  A few years ago they had huge brush fires in Quebec, Canada and you could feel the effects in Southern NH.

I am putting brewing on hold. I just don't feel amazing about wasting water to chill in LA as the fires rage and the drought continues. I live in an apartment and have really no way to recycle the water. Water conservation has stepped into my hobby in a big way.

Anybody else in LA(or other dry climates) feel this way or have good ideas for recycling water in an apartment?
cheers.

I fill 5 gallon buckets. I use the buckets in the washing machine over the next week. I've toyed with trying no-chill

Terrible. I hate it for them and everyone else who has to deal with this disaster. Every one stay safe!
