2014 NHC Beer Trade
« on: May 21, 2014, 06:56:54 am »
Was thinking about bringing a few bottles of New Glarus Belgian Red to NHC for trade.  Wondering if anyone is interested.  I would be looking for something not available in Wisconsin.

I'm coming from Ohio & can get some good local stuff from Fat Heads, Great Lakes, Brew Kettle, or Hoppin Frog. I can run to any of the breweries & get everything fresh before I come on Wednesday, 6/11/14...or growlers of anything on tap (except Hoppin Frog). Any styles in particular you're interested in?

- Hoppin Frog BORIS the Crusher Imperial Stout
- Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA
- Fat Head's Hop Juju IIPA (I have 1 bottle left from my case)
- Brew Kettle White Rajah IPA
- Great Lakes Chillwave IPA
- Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster IIPA

Are there any other New Glarus fruit beers/sours you can get?

I have never been a big beer trader, but I can bring some Cigar City beers.
I would like some of the New Glarus sours and seasonals.
What sort of styles would y'all like to trade?

I'd be interested in setting up a trade or two. I'm from central PA and live near Troegs and PizzaBoy Brewing. Can also get a bunch of other stuff. Have been on a sour kick lately but just love trying beers I've never had before. Let me know if your interested. Thanks, Ken.

picked up an extra bottle of each of the three New Glarus fruit beers if someone is dying to try them.  Could probably be talked out of a bottle of the NG Berliner Weisse (w/ grapes) if you're nice or willing to say mean things about a university I don't like.  Sorry, I have no Lazy Monk growler to share; I killed it myself.  8)
today after a few winery and cider tastings I was in braufessor's neck of the woods and stopped by Toppling Goliath.  A few bottles of Pseudo Sue with me if someone's dying to try it.

no biggie; they "drank pretty good" as that Holmes guy would say...

Just found my buddy Beertracker while visiting at a certain brewery in Munster IN.  Trunk full of Alpha King?  Check!

cheers--
