Thanks for the thoughts and prayers and overall good wishes. I spent the night in the hospital with her the night before last so that my dad could go home and get some sleep. She was doing much better yesterday and the IV has come off though she's still on o2. They are hoping she gets to come home today.
It was a pretty scary sight, she couldn't remember her grandchildren, the year, where we lived .... at one point in time she couldn't even tell you her own name. She had surgery a week ago yesterday and must have had a reaction to the anesthesia. I was on a 3 night back packing trip over the weekend and didn't even know until Monday AM that she was in the hospital. At first they thought she had a stroke. Thank God it wasn't that.
Anyway, hopefully the crisis is over and she can start watching my bratty kids again.
