Howdy homebrewers,
Brew day coming up tomorrow, I have 8 oz of Azacca whole cone hops from YVH.
Everything I've read mentions you get 10% more IBU from pellets versus whole cone hops.
To account for the difference would it make sense if I decreased the amount of alpha acid on the label by 10-15% when creating my recipe in beersmith ?
I guess I don't see a difference while entering the recipe in beer Smith if you choose pellet hops or whole cone hops.
