Russian beer factories
« on: June 17, 2014, 02:45:54 am »
I lived and worked in Russia many years.  During 1994-96, I flew throughout Russia evaluating breweries to purchase for a large company.  Here are a few of the pics I made.  You can contact me at http://www.travistowe.com or travistowe@gmail.com. www.travistowe.com  if you want me to send you more or if you have any questions about breweries in Russia.

I just tried to insert images, but a box doesn't come up asking me where my image is located.  Can someone help?

The images have to me "hosted" somewhere. You won't be able to just upload them. However, they will display here via the above mentioned tags.

I've been to Russia many times via work and toured the brewery in Tomsk.  It was quite impressive.  Got to see every stage of the process from receiving grains to bottling.

Very nice setup.  And the beer was quite good.  Had several varieties - a dark, light, a "live" beer or unfiltered.  Russia does have some good beer.  Baltica just isn't one of them in my opinion.

I enjoy me some Baltica #6.  But then I love baltic porters in general.  It's not my favorite one but I certainly wouldn't say it's bad.... Reminds me I have a baltic porter lagering right now... mmm.
