And there's already $350 tickets on Stubhub. I shouldn't be surprised.

It shouldn't be legal for Ticketmaster to have their own scalping company!

I have one comped ticket (because of volunteering) but I tried 3 times and everytime it wouldn't process my ticket. Kept saying something wasn't right about my submission, and then eventually the thing would time out.

So I don't have a ticket for my wife, and I'm pretty depressed.  I did everything right. . and was shot down by some glitch in ticket master. I don't know. .I re-typed the visa card i used different cards. . .have no idea what went wrong

pretty depressing since I've worked so hard to make sure i got a ticket for the event

I pulled the trigger right at the starting bell and was immediately placed in a queue. 40 minutes later, i was informed that no tickets matched my search criteria. A little frustrated? Yes. End of the world? No. Perhaps I'll have better luck at the General Public sale tomorrow.

I wonder if the future for this festival will include a lottery system, similar to what was done with NHC, or 2 member-only sessions.

Festivals are getting so crazy these days.  The VT Brewers Festival sold out in less than 20 minutes this year.  Then the b****ing ensued, with a bunch of people saying locals should have had first shot at them.  When people think they're entitled to a beer festival, it's time to stay home.

Have fun, for those who got tickets!

P.S. I just re-read my post and in no way referring to volunteers...those people deserve the beer to be served to them!

Once again I get screwed out of tickets. At 10am I started searching for Sat afternoon (member) tickets, got the screen "searching for tickets" wait time is 15 minutes. So I open another window and search for Thursday night tickets. Get the same "searching for tickets", wait time is 6 minutes. It counted down and I bought 2 tickets. The Sat session finally started counting down. But stuck at <1 minute. For grins, I still have that window open. It's now been 2 hours 15 minutes and still searching.

I'll probably just sell my Thursday tickets and not go this year.

Ticketmaster sucks, trying to get ticket from them have been problematic every year they've used them.

 >:( Stupid Ticketmaster! I also had issues with securing tickets for Saturday at 12:00 PM and I was only able to get the 5:30 session for my wife and I. The problem that I am personally having is that I am attending this with a group and we all are flying out to Denver earlier that week. I would LOVE it if someone would be willing to trade 5:30 PM tickets for the 12:00 PM event. This is our first time attending this and it would be nice to sample with the people that I am going out there with. I will have two tickets available when Ticketmaster sends them to me in the mail.

I lucked out and got my primary goal, four tickets for Saturday evening.  I then went for another session, and got shot down.

I am flying from Los Angeles.  $300 airfare...another $300 in hotel expense...while I have tix for Saturday, it is so outrageous that more than 1,000 tickets are onsale---at twice face value---on StubHub less than 12 hours after the members pre-sale.

How can this be allowed?  How many people do this annually, screwing decent AHA members out of the chance to go?  I don't live in Colorado.  I am not wealthy.  I haven't been to Denver in nearly a decade.  This is a $1,000 weekend, bucket list deal for me.

ID should be required at the door to match a ticket.

Obviously people are joining the AHA and paying the  $40 or so membership fee, and then turning it right around to scalp tickets.

Yes, I agree that it is outrageous......but having been an AHA member for over 20 years, I do like to be able to buy tickets for my friends, even when I cannot go.  So I don't see an easy solution.

It sucks, but it is the way it is. Checking id's at the door will lead to folks complaining about how long it took to get in.

Plus this isn't a members only event. Be grateful for the opportunity to purchase in a members only pre-sale.

Look at the Super Bowl. A vast majority of those tickets are not available to the general public at all.

I have no interest in going to GABF so whoever is the last one to get a ticket, you're welcome
