Any one want a job?

Don't know if I did this correctly but this article appeared Monday in the local paper. Thought it might stimulate some discussion....

Good to know the hop harvest is good and they are investing in new processing equipment.

I was there last week at the height of harvest.  Loftus Farm, one of the biggest growers/processors there, has more than doubled their capabilities this year.  They have a new hop picker (picks the cones off the bines after the bines are harvested) from Germany.  One of only 6 in the world and the only one in the US.  If you want to see some pics of the harvest, my photos are at http://s794.photobucket.com/user/dennyconn/library/Hop%20Brew%20School%202014?sort=3&page=1

Denny, do you know how tall those plants are? They look 20 feet tall.
