Now on the other hand, if anyone has a good recipe for zucchini beer... or hubbard squash?
If I could find a way to turn all this years zucchini into beer that actually tasted good I would die a happy man...real soon.

No, fresh hop fest. Sorry for any confusion. I know its rare that we stay on topic, and I'm usually snarky anyway, but... ya. Fresh hop festival downtown Yakistan

Let's do it! A Zucchini Pumpkin Crystal Malt Marris Otter Wet Hop Beer Festival! I'd call it a craze but as everyone knows hyperbole is the worst thing in the world ever.

Jim- I thought that's what you meant. My poor attempt at humor. You going to the fresh hop this year?

I love zucchini fried, deep fried, sliced up in my salad, and "pickled" in Asian wine vinegar, but I don't want it anywhere near my beer. Same with pumpkin, leave it for pies.

All the roasted grains need to be cold-steeped, while you're a it ;)

Of course the Marris Otter must be vegan organic free range & fair trade.

I'm thinking for the grist :   70% Crystal
                                     10% MO
                                     10% Zucchini
                                     10% Pumpkin

Also, 40 lbs of your crappiest Fuggles wet hops, generous throughout. And LOTS of spice, like several lbs of it.
Mmmmmm tasty !     ;D

EDIT  -  That might be the beer served in Hell, possibly.

Yep, and a pot of Jim's hot dog water. Gotta be NHC caliber.

I read to quickly and saw bong water. Hot dog water makes way more sense.

Did you see bong water because you read too quickly or were you just reading quickly AND looking at bong water? I think the zucchini's name should be Collin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErRHJlE4PGI
