I think brewers hardware has smaller TC connectors (1/2" - 3/4").

I need 1.5TC to 1/2 female NPT, but I need it to go into the tank, so the reverse of all those in that link - similar to what Phil's racking arm is like but with a NPT fitting instead m a curved tube.

3/4" FNPT adapter with a 3/4" x 1/2" bushing inside?

Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.

Ya, that'd work, so long as the bushing was threaded all the through.

I finally heard back from Phil.  He's got a welder on it.  Hopefully I'll have mine within 2 weeks....and hopefully that'll help some others out too.  The TC's are cool, and definitely "big boy" style, but a whole new world of fittings!!

Question for you guys.

Will something like Ecolab's MIP-ACP high alkaline cleaner be ok for flushing after a brew?  I'm sure it'll be ok on the stainless, cause I learned about it at a brewery, just wondering about the silicone tubing.

Thanks in advance.  I'm very very new at this, so I apologize for any stupid q's.

Eco lab will be fine but they are selling their stuff in larger quantities.

I have a buddy who used to sell that kinda stuff to mines and power plants and steel mills....  He thinks he can get it in 5 gallon pails for me.

Is there a more common name for that stuff?  Do we do a water rinse and then star-San??
