I always knew there was a reason I liked hoppy beers   ;)   Thing is Miller (and others) could make something passing as an interesting pilsner if they put some of that advertising $$ into adding those hop cones into their beers. Nice ad though.

I was watching the Packers game yesterday with a retired Pabst brewery manager who went absolutely nuts during that commercial. On and on about who bought what company and who 'invented' lite beer... and so on. I don't think he noticed the chicks in the hops.


I must now brew with this man however! We are planning a day on my system in a few weeks.


Fortunately a glass of coffee porter calmed him down.

When I saw that ad the thought popped into my head that they just doubled their hop purchases for the year to make that scene.
