Meet the Brewie. Another Homebrew appliance. Maybe as more players get in the game, the prices will come way down.

Or, they'll all go out of business. I can't imagine that the equipment is cheap for a unit like this, and with a limited market of what I'd call "Rich dudes who wants toys", the customer base isn't growing.

"WHEN YOU RECEIVED YOUR BREWIE PADS - WHICH CONTAINS THE MALT AND THE HOPS - PLACE THEM INTO THE MACHINE"

Looks like a beerpresso machine to me. Will you be able to use "loose" ingredients?

I was trying to figure that out too. I saw in an article that people can use software to put together a recipe and send the instructions to an RFID card. Their site is not very friendly.

Yeah, kind of hard to find the info you want.
It looks like something you'd find in Skymall.

Gotta love this, directly from the website:

"How It Works: First thing you need to do is put Brewie in your shopping cart and wait"

Seriously?  ;D
