I do love peanut butter. Just not in my beer.

I'm sure you don't want me to comment on that ;-)

BTW, we also don't believe in Black Friday.

On that you have solid agreement from me. I won't be buying anything today. In fact I'm already at work.

Been a great holiday weekend so far. The Thanksgiving dinner was great. My wife and I cooked a helluva good meal. The brined smoked turkey was excellent. We only had a few family members over this year due to conflicting schedules and it made the day a lot more relaxed.
Capped it off today by going to Lucas Oil Stadium to see the state high school football championships. My wife teaches at the high school in the town we live in and the school's football team got to play for the championship at Lucas Oil tonight and shredded the opposition 77-42, smashing a bunch of state offensive records. Our 2nd year coach played O-line in the NFL for a couple teams and has done an amazing job in 2 years (obviously). Which also means it could be tough to keep him for long.
Regardless, settling in for a nightcap with some home brews and a little Knob Creek. Could be worse  ;).

77-42? I guess neither team has a solid defense. Pretty awesome stadium.

Yeah, beautiful stadium. Actually our team led the state in most points scored and fewest given up all year. The opponent's offense was no joke though. It was like a real life Madden game. Really fun.

Jon, I enjoyed sharing this with the family but everyone wants to know which teams were in and who won?

Well, my wife teaches at New Palestine which is in state football class 4A.  New Palestine (a suburb of Indy) beat New Prairie (a team from northern Indiana) 77-42. They're coached by Kyle Ralph, who played college at North Carolina and in the NFL for the Seahawks and Panthers. Great young coach.

Been a great holiday for me as well. I worked at the brewery a little yesterday but doing mostly fun stuff. We had a left over bon-fire party at my neighbors house last night. Going into brewery to watch Iron Bowl with so e friends later in the day. Planning kicking it at house all day tomorrow and may even take off Monday.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday!  :)

I managed to work through the entire holiday, but that's the life of an entrepreneur. I finally have a job that I enjoy.

I think Ron is starting off much better funded than we did so hopefully it won't be as big of a financial struggle. But one thing is for sure, you gotta sell a heck of a lot of beer to make a little money. It is amazing to me how many breweries are still managing to scratch by - myself included.
