I've already given away 50 gallons of homebrew this year!  

That's not exactly normal for me, but now that I have a 5 tap jockey box, it's hard to not put it to use!  I do usually bring growlers wherever I go to not spend more $$$ on beer and share as well....

I probably average a little more than a pint a day (some days none, some days several) - so I can't drink all of what I brew.  But, I have help.  Depending on what I have on tap, my wife is usually good for a few pints a week - and her palate is broadening, so she's helping more.  My son (23) lives with us, and his girlfriend is often around - so they help, too.  His girlfriend is a total hophead, and really likes IPAs, IIPAs, etc.  And, in the summer, my daughter (21) is home from college and does her best to pitch in, too.

We usually have two or three gatherings over the year, each of which is good for blowing a keg or two.  Last July 4th some family came over and 16 of us drank a whole keg of Cream Ale over the day.  We knocked off another keg of Pale Ale on Labor Day.  And, I have an OktoBEERfest! each year that I brew four German styles for (20 gallons) - and we go through most of that in a day since we have 40-50 guests.

With the help and gatherings, we go through enough beer that I brew around 20-25 batches a year, including a few 10-gallon batches.  Like others, I enjoy the process, the tinkering, and learning about and brewing different styles a lot.  It's to the point that my wife asks me what brewing plans I have just about every week.  There's always something to do - brew, rack, build equipment, shop for ingredients, etc.

I limit myself to 5 gallon batches because I want to brew as often as possible.  I do drink a decent amount of it but I wouldn't be able to keep up with my brewing if it was just me.  So I do give a decent amount away, maybe a third of what I brew on average.

Sounds a lot like my MO, too.

Same here...but I will usually do double or triple batches of my long aged Xmas Ales and my IPA... I will consume a fair amount of both, but also give quite a bit of those beers away (probably close to half)  especially to those on my xmas list.

Just got back from our Spring Game this weekend.  Football tailgates are a great place to unload piles of homebrew.

Nice - Wish I still lived in VA, I would have gone too.  Since I live in WA now, I dont have as many friends to share my beers with, but those that I do know have no problem drinking a few beers with me.  I generally don't drink Sun - Wednesday, but my wife and I will have a few beers on Thurs, Friday, Saturday.  I live in a condo, so I brew small AG batches about 3.5 gallons on average.  I will keg 2 beers, then bottle whatever is finished fermenting.  I like learning and improving technique and recipe creation as much as I enjoy the finished product.

Lately I've cut back a lot on my drinking, 1 to 3 beers when I drink and thats only been 3 to 4 days a week.  Even microbrews haven't been hitting the spot for me lately.  Of the beer that I make I give away half of it probably but I haven't been brewing like I used to.  5 gallon batches again now  and only every couple of months now.  Its a different crowd here, I have to take it easy on them with bittering etc.     When I was in Ohio, my kids and their friends quaffed down a considerable amount so I brewed more often... and I drank 3 to 6 pints a day then so....

I normally brew twice a month (every other weekend) so I try to balance out the amount I drink and the amount that I brew.  I'm currently having to take a small break from brewing because I just put 2 beers on tap and have one in the primary.  So I need to drink either one of my beers on tap slightly more quickly than normal so I can make room for the new one and brew more.  And I'm not going to bottle, I hate bottling.  I already have a couple high abv beers I need to bottle, but am just being lazy.  So getting rid of my beer more quickly most likely means having friends over for pints sometime as well.  Might as well share it, just means I get to brew new beers more often. 
But usually I probably have 1-3 pints a day.  Lately it seems like I've been having at least 4, which is a little much for me.  It doesn't result in a hang over, which I don't get headaches from drinking, I just think it's not a very healthy moderation and I feel a little more tired in the mornings.

I would say I brew about 2-3 batches every two months, and I brew as needed.  I try to keep a good four to six keg rotation for my wife and I.  I would say I might have about 10-12 pints a week (two per day, 5-6 days per week), and my wife maybe a little less.  Before baby we would drink more, so I would brew closer to twice per month (3-4 batches every two months), but like I said I just brew as needed to try and stay above the four keg threshold.  I brew mostly five gallon batches, but have done six-ten gallon batches to this point.

I probably drink right around 10 pints a week. Unfortunately, that would only justify brewing once a month, and I like to brew every 2-3 weeks. (Actually, I'd like to brew every day, but that's another story.)

After I rack over the two batches I have in secondaries, all eight kegs will be in use, and I'll have to either quit brewing or seriously step up my drinking.

Even this guy didn't drink all he made. If you have too much,just  throw a party! People kinda gather at my place so lots of beer is given away(but onsite only). If you can't make it out for a visit, you don't deserve any beer.

Yeah, parties are ok. But I think I should just drink a lot more. Yep, thats the real problem, not drinking enough.  

I used to take a lot of beer to people but being a bottle guy I use those easy cap bottles. Ya know the "Grolch" top. Almost no one ever brings the bottles back. Im not gonna start capping so the bottles stay put.

Also, being an extract chungo brewer I dont share it with home brewers either.   Some of you guys have it down to an art. Like Bluesman and Boulderbrewer and Thirsty monk I know are for sure. Sipping one of Thirsty's maibock as I type. Strong yet very easy on the pallet.
