i've read alot about spent grain powered boilers and the use of spent grain in pellet stoves, but i've been unable to find any information about the uses of spent grain in a normal wood stove. has anyone tried this, or know any reason why it wouldn't work?

Somebody mentioned using log forms before. Can't remember if it worked well or not.

Once dried it should burn fine. Airflow would probably be the only problem in a wood stove. A shovelful of grains thrown on a fire would another it. Sprinkling them on would work but you'd have to do it constantly. Maybe mix them with a resin into a fake fire log?
