I used to win awards at homebrew competitions frequently.  Then some friends of mine put my brew kettle and mash tun on their keg cleaning machine and made them all sparkly clean.  In the years since then, I've been lucky to win anything. ???
That's how I feel about my smoker and grill.

+1 i never clean my smoker-just adds to the character of my next smoke. :P

Yeah, my smoker gets the ashes dumped and an occasional rain bath. That's it.
