Mr. malty
« on: December 18, 2014, 10:47:37 am »
Did Mr. Malty get the flu or another virus? It's telling me I need a 10L starter for a 1.085 ale. 2 days ago, it told me 3.5L. What gives?

You have simple starter selected...did you have stir plate selected 2 days ago?

I was going to ask the same thing.  I've never had an issue with mr malty.

Also, you have growth factor slid all the way to the right, for just 1 vial. The default is more in the middle and may have originally called for a smaller starter, but with more vials. just a thought

Yes, that was my error. I use a stir plate and had that selected the other day. That's what I get for checking these things at the office.  :-[Thanks guys!
