A Big Beer
« on: December 21, 2014, 07:11:56 am »

My girlfriend won this 3 liter bottle of beer with a handpainted bottle and the original painting it was based on in a raffle at a tasting at our local country store. The best part is that its from my favorite local brewery, Element Brewing Company in Miller's Falls Ma. We had a fun time picking it up at the brewery yesterday getting a tour and tasting. Its their 5 th anniversary beer. Its a double version of this past summers seasonal, an oatmeal pilsner, which I loved. This bottle is 16% abv so we'll be having company when this gets opened.

A buddy won a massive bottle of Russian River sour in a raffle a few years back. Pretty sure it was a 3L of Supplication and he still has it. I will need to get him good and drunk one night to convince him to crack it open.
