12g of dunkel.  trying to keep it from having any percerptible roast character, so will be trying the late mash addition of carafa this time.

I'm brewing a small batch (2.5 gal) of something I'm calling Red Rye Ale.

64.8% 2-row
10.8% rye
10.8% light munich
7.1% crystal rye
4.3% victory
2.2% chocolate rye

Magnum hops for bittering; cascade and centennial for flavor/aroma.  Going to ferment with Wyeast 1968.

Finally oaked my RIS.  Used 3 ounces of Hungarian medium toast in 5 gallons.

Wasn't able to brew on big brew day so I brewed two batches on the 30th.  My first lambic (will become a kriek) and my 2nd Anniversary beer - Dirty Hound Irish Red (brewed it for our wedding and our first).

Bottling my oktoberfest soon, and drinking my delicious dopplebock and baltic porter now
