I live in a pretty cool location that definitely has its moments. But if I had a pair of Google glasses that you could see what I see 24/7 there's plenty you would not envy.

I'm just happy when the high temp for the day is above zero (0) this time of year.  We had -30 to -35 wind chills yesterday.

Yep. Minus 9 at 7:00 this morning without wind chill.

Yep. Minus 9 at 7:00 this morning without wind chill.

Yep, -9 and -34 WC this morning. I'm ok with the cold up to a certain point, but this morning was past that point.

I brought the chickens water in to fill this morning and when I came back one of them was on the warmer that keeps the water from freezing and she put up a fight when I took her off it.

Funny, I took a picture last night thinking of this thread....it was of my chicken flock standing on my smoking compost pile getting their evening steam bath in the fading light. :)


It did not turn out to be post worthy...carry on.
