Officially a dad
« on: January 19, 2015, 06:02:05 pm »
Well....I'm a dad now. Got married January 2nd. I'm now married to an amazing and beautiful woman, and have to wonderful daughters.
And if that's not enough, the new SWHMBO has given me green light to set up a basement brewery!!

I don't really post enough to have built up much of a relationship with anyone here on the boards, but nevertheless wanted to chime in here and offer my congratulations. Good for you, man. It's always nice when two people find each other.

Everyone loves to poke fun at marriage, and I'm no exception -- I enjoy a joke as well as the next guy. But all kidding aside, my wife is the greatest thing that ever happened to me, and I can't imagine having lived my life without her.

All the best to you.

Congrats, and best wishes!

Sounds like a great opportunity to do a brewery "reset" and think about the things you might do differently this time around.  We all learn a lot as we build out our systems.  However, sometimes we're far enough down a particular path that it's not practical to change.  Give it some thought....

awesome to hear the news Barry..

now for the important part, what are you naming the brewery?  ..and even more importantly, when are you shipping beer?

Well, from as often as I post anymore I won't be shipping anytime soon. Spent most of the winter remodeling the kitchen. Now it's on to outdoor stuff since the weather has broke. I'll get to brewing again eventually but as for now I'm living the dream.
