Is there a chat ever going on with this forum? I have posted 2,000 questions this month and would feel less guilty about asking in a chat over starting new threads...

It won't be long before you're answering most questions.  Ask away!  Somebody else had or has the same questions.

Somebody has to ask the questions. It's fun helping new brewers.

Today I agreed to sell 3 kegs for $100 to a guy that has been brewing for a year and started building his first keezer. I ended up knocking it down to $80 and told him I'd get him some o-rings when my McMaster order comes in.

Countless brewers paved the way and figured everything out the hard way. They passed the knowledge on and it is our duty and privilege to do the same.

Next time you meet a new extract brewer, tuck him or her under your wing and pay it forward.

I wouldn't worry about it. That's what the forum is for and it lets lots of other people read the responses.
